No matter what kind of wedding you are having I can help make your special day unforgettable for your guests and more enjoyable for you and your partner. Private dance lessons for your first dance, unlike most wedding expenses, can give you pleasure for the rest of your life. 

There are many different approaches to the first dance. Some of my past clients wanted to wow their guests by performing a choreographed routine, others wanted the ability to dance to their favorite song with a simple grace and ease. Learning some basic patterns and lead and follow techniques takes away a huge amount of stress from both partners so that you can enjoy your special moment without anxiety and leave a lasting impression on your family and friends. I also offer group classes for the bridal party beforehand and a short class at the wedding itself for your guests. A simple dance class at your wedding can be great entertainment for those attending, as well as make sure that they are eager to join you on the dance floor.

​When to Start?

I always recommend couples start lessons as early as possible. At least two months would be realistic for a simple wedding dance and six months for something more complicated. By not leaving it to the last minute you ensure that, regardless of unexpected events like illness or family emergencies etc. you have time to complete your lessons. It also means you have the chance to practice on your own, building muscle memory so that dancing on your special day is stress-free and automatic. This way the whole experience will be enjoyable and relaxing, instead of adding stress to an already busy time period pre-wedding. 

Prices

£20 no obligation 45 minute consultation. Discuss your options, things to consider when deciding on a song and a dance, then get started dancing together. 

The consultation can be in person or online depending on your preference (but I highly recommend doing it in person since learning to dance is much easier this way).

Wedding Prices

45 minute Wedding Consultation £20

Individual 1 hour lessons  £50

Basic Package-- Six 1 hour Lessons £265-- Each lesson is £44.16

If you want to do a simple dance, perhaps with a few turns and a dip ending. 

Level Two Package-- Ten 1 hour lessons £400 -- Each lesson is £40

If you want to do something more complicated with more time to focus on details, technique and not have to think very much so you can feel completely relaxed on the day.

Bespoke Package-- We decide together how many lessons are required to reach your dance goals and you get a discounted rate similar to the above package prices.

All lessons are good for one year after the wedding. So if you have a lesson left over, you can come back and turn your first dance skills into lifetime dance skills.
